Anchor channels are pre-positioned cast-in fixing solutions. Which can be used for anchoring in cracked and non-cracked concrete while offering higher safety and slightly higher load capacity due to mechanical interlocking in the substrate. The ETA approved anchor channel system consists of the anchor channel FES and the channel bolt FBC. The anchor channel has to be positioned and fixed in the formwork prior to the casting of the concrete. After the concrete is hardened and the formwork has been removed the foam filler / sealing tape can be conveniently pulled out using the rip-line. Afterwards the channel bolt can be inserted into the channel and used to fix the base plate.
